It has been a busy week filled with sequin and sparkles. I would like to say it has been something amazing but just a regular ballet recital. Of course, nothing is regular around here . . . what started as a simple assistance with a tutu turned into a major costume development. I began by making a few hats and skirts since there were not enough. Then an idea for a tutu began a need to add the skirts to the tutus. And of course gloves would make the costume . . . and making them is cheaper than buying. So the quest to get the costume finished for the recital began. It was an undertaking that was not easy with everything else going on around here, but that's another post. Needless to say the costumes were finished in time for the show and it proved to be great dance recital. The dancers had fun and the audience enjoyed it . . . and now life is back to normal . . . if anyone knows what normal is!
